Upcoming Events
Supreme Transitions is excited to announce a series of upcoming events that are designed to empower, educate, and inspire the Black community, with a special focus on survivors and single mothers. These events are carefully curated to provide a platform for healing, growth, and connection. We invite you to mark your calendars and join us for these transformative experiences:
Healing Is A Journey
Visible History Immersive Healing Education Experience
August 30 - September 1, 2024
Join Supreme Transitions on a transformative journey to Montgomery, Alabama. This immersive experience will explore the impact of historical trauma on Black survivors from the eras of slavery and the civil rights movement to the present day. The goal is to enhance services for Black survivors, empower them on their healing journeys, and increase staff capacity to understand the integration of total well-being in culturally specific service provision.
Beauty Shop Talk
"Shop Talk," is a unique and empowering event series that brings together the community in a local Female Black-owned hair salon. These small-group sessions provide an accessible and inviting space for individuals to engage in transformative conversations, learn from experts, and connect with fellow community members.
Mobility And Movement Sessions
Our Mobility & Movement Sessions are designed not only to increase physical health but also to educate survivors about techniques for grounding, body trauma release, and self-centering. These sessions offer survivors practical tools for maintaining physical and emotional balance.
Supreme Sole
We are thrilled to introduce "Supreme Sole," an annual signature event hosted by Supreme Transitions. This event is more than just an occasion; it's a movement, a bridge that connects Black survivors, agencies, program leaders, judicial officials, and law enforcement. Through a uniquely themed Black Tie "Sneaker Ball," we aim to create an immersive experience that uplifts survivor stories, recognizes community champions, and facilitates resource sharing.
